Sylvana is a buffed leather with a slight pull-up effect. The hides natural characteristics of the hide tend to be totally visible on this type of finish. This leather is once dyed with water soluble dyes with no surface pigmentations. Some oils are used in the finishing process which creates the pull up effect on the surface and adds character to the finish. This leather will create an antiqued or aged look over time. The key feature about a pull-up effect is that the leather lightens under pull.
